Ecom Ad Bounty

Privacy notice

Last updated 17 October 2026 · Terms of use

This notice explains what Ecom Ad Bounty holds about you, why, who else sees it, and how to get a copy or have it deleted. It is for the creators on the programme, who we call students.

Who we are

Ecom Ad Bounty is run by Trench Bros LLC, 1309 Coffeen Ave, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We decide how your data is used, which makes us its controller. For anything in this notice, write to zak@ecombusiness.com. The same address reaches the person responsible for your data at Trench Bros LLC, including as our grievance and data protection contact.

What we hold about you

  • Your application: your legal name, Discord username and Discord id, the email of your Whop account, and your country.
  • Your Whop account: your Whop user id and whether your membership is active. When you sign in to the platform, Whop also tells us your name and username.
  • Your Discord account: when you connect Discord to apply, Discord tells us your Discord id and username, and whether you are a member of our Discord server.
  • How you get paid: your Wise email, name and Wise tag, or your bank details (account holder, account or IBAN number, routing or SWIFT code, the bank’s name and address, and sometimes your own address).
  • What you submit: your creative files and their file names, which include your legal name and creator id; the facts we read from each file (its type, size, dimensions and length); the ad name and hooks you give it; the ad copy you write; and the results of the checks and reviews about them.
  • How your ads do and what you earn: the spend on the ads made from your work, the ad names, and every payout we calculate and send you.
  • How you use the platform: the pages you open and what you click, how fast pages load for you, and recordings of your sessions in which every piece of text and everything you type is hidden. Your sign-in sessions record your IP address and browser.
  • What we send you: the messages we send you by Discord and in your inbox, and whether they reached you.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To run the programme with you. We use your details to approve you, check your submissions, send them to the brands you enrol in, launch your ads, work out what you earned and pay you. We need this to do what we agreed with you, so the legal basis is our contract with you.
  • To keep financial records. We keep a record of what we paid you and when, because the law requires it.
  • To improve the platform and keep it safe. We look at how students use the platform, so we can make it better and spot problems. This is in our legitimate interests, which means it is a reasonable use you would expect, it is limited to what we need, and you can object to it.
  • To celebrate results. We post monthly results in the brands’ Discord channels, naming top students by Discord username with their ad spend and earnings. We also give milestone roles in our Discord by your lifetime ad spend, and the GOAT role to the top earner, so other students can see the tier you have reached. On the platform, a leaderboard shows students on the program by Discord username, with their ad spend over all time, the last 30 days and the last 7 days, their rank and their position. Leaving you out of results posts leaves you out of roles and the leaderboard too. This is also in our legitimate interests, and you can ask us to leave you out.
  • If you are in India, we use your data with your consent, which you give when you apply and sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and withdrawing ends your place on the programme.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to show you advertising.

Automated checks

Applications are approved automatically. When you apply, we check that your Whop membership is active, that the Discord account you connect is in our server and not already on the programme, and that Wise can pay people in your country. If all three pass, you are approved straight away. If Wise cannot pay people where you live, a person reviews your application and decides.

Every file you submit is checked by an AI model against technical rules and the brand’s standards. A file the check flags goes to the brand’s own review, and a person there decides whether to ask you for a revision. A file that passes is marked approved, and a person decides whether to launch it. You can always ask for a person to look again at a result you think is wrong, through the Discord support channel or at zak@ecombusiness.com.

We may also share your data if the law requires it, or to protect the programme, our students or others from fraud or harm.

Transfers outside your country

Our database and the platform are hosted in the United States, and some of the services above are in other countries. So if you live outside the United States, your data is transferred there. Where a provider offers data processing terms for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, we rely on those terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while you are on the programme, and after that until you ask us to delete it. The record of what we paid you and when is kept for 7 years, because the law requires it. Some services clear data on their own sooner: our automation service keeps its run records for about a month, Gemini deletes the files we send it after each check, and a file you submit on the platform is deleted from our upload storage once it is turned down, or after a day if you never finish sending it (if it fails on our side, we keep it until we have sent it through). A file that is accepted is kept with your submission.

Your rights, and how to use them

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, and we will send it to you. You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong. You can ask us to delete your data, and we will remove your name and your contact and payout details from our systems and from the services we use. Two things are kept when you do this: the record of what we paid you and when, which the law requires us to keep for 7 years, and ads a brand is already running with your work, which are in the brand’s own ad account. Deleting your data ends your place on Ecom Ad Bounty. We pay you what you have already earned first, and after that, spend on your old ads is no longer paid to you.

You can also object to how we use your data for analytics or announcements, and we will stop. You can ask us to limit what we do with it while a question is being sorted out, and you can ask for your data in a form another service can read.

To do any of this, email zak@ecombusiness.com from the email address you signed up with. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm the request from your Discord account first. We answer within 30 days. It costs nothing.

Cookies and analytics

The platform sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in and keep you signed in, and it remembers your light or dark appearance in your browser. Our analytics set no cookies and store nothing in your browser, and they hide every piece of text on the screen and everything you type. Because none of this is optional tracking, we do not show a cookie banner.

Keeping it safe

Apart from what the brands and services above receive, only the people who run the programme can see your details. The platform reads your data on our servers and never lets your browser query our database directly, and your email addresses are partly hidden on screen.

Age

Ecom Ad Bounty is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone younger.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use your data, tell us first at zak@ecombusiness.com. You can also complain to the regulator where you live: in the EU, your national data protection authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in Brazil, the ANPD; in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, or in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

Changes to this notice

When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, we tell you in the platform or by Discord before it takes effect.
